About NetCreditScore

Most pages about credit scores are written to sell something: a card, a loan, a monitoring subscription or a credit repair package. We started NetCreditScore to put the basics in one place without any of that.

Editorial policy

• We do not accept advertising, sponsored posts or affiliate commissions.
• We base our guides on what the scoring companies, the credit bureaus and federal agencies publish, and we update them when the rules change.
• Every guide shows the date it was last reviewed.
• If you find an error, tell us — we correct it and note the change.

What we are not

We are not a lender, a credit bureau, a credit repair company or a law firm, and our guides are not personal financial or legal advice. We will never ask for your Social Security number, account numbers or credit report.
